Job Description
This person is responsible for installation, configuration and administration of the Tableau server and client applications.

Responsibilities:
Perform installation, migration and upgrade of Tableau Servers and Desktops under high availability scenarios
Configure and maintain Active Directory integration with Tableau Server
Configure and troubleshoot Single Sign On (SSO) issues for Tableau Server
Installation and testing Tableau Server
Define Tableau Sites, Projects, Groups, Users, and Permissions
Define Content Publishing Process
Document installation and configuration of Tableau Server
Test and validate multiple Security Configuration
Perform performance analysis of existing Tableau Servers and make Best Practice recommendations
Perform day to day administration of Tableau Servers:
o manage sites and projects
o configure and manage project permissions
o provide periodic reports on Tableau Server usage
o publish Tableau workbooks and data extracts
Required Candidate profile
Qualification:
Minimum 2 years of Tableau Server installation / administration
Strong understanding of Tableau Server configuration options
Excellent understanding of Active Directory, DNS, Load Balancer and Network firewall
Experience configuring Single Sign-on (SSO) with SAML authentication
Experience with multimode installations and high avaibity installation
Installation experience in secure environments - network security / firewall, VPN, etc
Proficient in Tableau command line utility
Good understanding of database concepts including writing SQL statements
Very strong troubleshooting skills
