Why manual testing?

KOSMIK MANUAL TESTING JOB IMAGE POSTER

If you’re going to test your own software, it’s probably a good idea that you know what you’re doing, so it helps if you have some experience in testing or development. This might sound like a disadvantage, but it can actually be beneficial because manual testers are taught not only how to test their own code effectively but also how tests should be run by more specialized software like automated unit tests. In other words, manual testers learn how to test with both a human and machine perspective. What is manual testing?: There are two types of software tests: manual and automated. With automated testing, machines do all of the work; they use pre-written scripts to cycle through various inputs until they find one that breaks something (that’s called failing). Once an input is found that causes a failure, developers get alerted so they can fix it before any humans encounter problems.
