Reports, Report Parts, and Report Definitions (Report Builder and SSRS)
The variety of terms to describe a paginated report in different states. It includes initial definition, published the report, and viewed report appears to the user.
Report Definition (.rdl) Files
A report definition is a file created in Report Builder or Report Designer. It completes the description of data source connections, queries used to retrieve data.
