Role Description
Work closely with DevOps teams and enable/support Cloud migration strategy
1) Manage shared infrastructure (e.g. Network , LDAP/AD , Security , Proxies , CDN etc.)
2) Integration/plumbing between in premise Infrastructure and Cloud (AWS/GCP)
3) Enable operational excellence such as service resiliency (High Availability / Disaster Recovery)
4) Develop code to create automated solutions
5) Creation, management of software pipelines covering continuous integration, delivery, test automation and security scanning
6) Creation of devops , secops framework
7) Instrumentation - Creation, productization and management of central instrumentation plane. This includes -
- Using open source frameworks for logging , search/elastic seach , monitoring and display
- Integration with incident management tools such as service Now
8) Configuration management (Chef, Puppet, Ansible)
9) Cloud orchestration (CloudFormation, Terraform)
Must Have Skills

Technical Qualifications:-
OS Administration and Build Skills: 5+ years of overall Linux experience, Red Hat or CentOS preferred
System Programming : 2+ years of experience scripting with Python is Must
Cloud Exp: 2-4 years of solid experience with mid size AWS environments, managing EC2, Google cloud
1+ years of experience with at least 2 of the following: Lambda, CloudFormation, DynamoDB, VPC/Network configuration, System Architecture
Experience on Hipervisors: (KVM, VMWare and Xen). VMWare management suite (Vcenter, Vsphere)
Configuration management (Chef, Puppet, Ansible)
Open source automation tools like Jenkins ,Docker
AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate (or Develope r)
Good to Have Skills
Knowledge of Monitoring Tools ( Nagios, Graphite, Kurlmon)
Knowledge of firewalls, load balancers, Apache and nginx web servers
Agile and SDLC
Familiarity with CI/ CD, scalable / high performance cloud service is a plus(CICD Tools: Cloud Bees, Jenkin).
